Using lists

The first list you create will probably contain all the contacts you currently have access to. As you create additional lists, you will discover that you can create custom lists for an almost infinite number of purposes.

For example, you might create three initial lists:

1. a list of newsletter subscribers,
2. a list of your previous customers,
3. a list of people who receive your monthly promotional mailings.

To create these lists, you import contacts from existing lists, add them manually, or even add them automatically (as when someone fills in a web form to subscribe to your newsletter).

After creating these lists, you can begin to split them into smaller, more targeted lists.

For example, you might divide your newsletter subscriber list into two smaller lists:

1. subscribers who have made a purchase from you,
2. subscribers who have not made a purchase.

The way you create and use your lists will depend entirely on your individual goals.

In Mailloop 7.0, there is no limit on the number of contacts you can include in a list, or on the number of lists you can create. Lists can be split into smaller lists, merged into larger ones, and imported from (or exported to) other software applications.
