Mailloop 7.0 - Using Queries to create Targeted Mailing Lists

Queries

This is a powerful feature of Mailloop 7.0. You can use queries to generate dynamic, highly targeted mailing lists from your database of contacts.

To create a query, you specify a set of conditions that Mailloop 7.0 will search for in your contact lists.

For example, you can create a query to generate a list of all your newsletter subscribers who subscribed more than three months ago, or generate a list of all your previous customers who have .ca addresses.

Each time you run a query, Mailloop 7.0 searches your database and creates an up-to-the-minute list of all the contacts that meet the conditions you specify.

You can look for contacts in specific categories or lists: -

• by contact status;
• by the time range in which they were added to one of your lists; and
• by strings of characters in any of the data fields in their contact information (e.g., .com in their email address, Boston in the city field, etc.).  The data field contents can be searched within a single field or within up to five data fields simultaneously.
